The Rensselaer County Democratic Committee mourns the sudden passing of Edward F. Manny, Deputy Minority Leader of the Rensselaer County Legislature and retired Troy firefighter. Legislator Manny loved the City of Troy and the people he served during his 36 years of public service, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Martha, and the entire Manny family at this difficult time.

Please be advised that the Rensselaer County Democratic Committee fundraiser scheduled for Wednesday, March 7th has been rescheduled to March 14th due to a strong winter storm which is predicted to impact the Capital Region area starting tomorrow. The March 14th fundraiser will be held at the same location and time: North Greenbush American Legion Post # 1489, 111 Main Avenue, Wynantskill, NY 12198; 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
